Exhibitions

Werner Gadliger has participated in over twenty solo exhibitions and just as many group exhibitions since 2000. Sometimes his photographs are exhibited alongside his drawings and etchings. Recently, the focus has increasingly shifted to photography. In the fall of 2024, the renowned Fondation Auer Ory pour la photographie in Hermance near Geneva dedicates a solo exhibition to the photographer. Gadliger's artistic works are exhibited extensively, particularly from the 1970s through the 1990s. Among the first to support his drawings and etchings at that time is the renowned Suzanne Bollag Gallery on Zurich’s Limmatquai. Around the turn of the millennium, galleries begin to close, including Gadliger’s long-standing gallery Trittligasse in Zurich, which is hosting one last exhibition for him in 2012 before it closes its doors for good.
